PRIVACY & METRICS

Your visit. Your choice.

Optional website statistics help us understand how our public pages are used.

Last updated: October 17, 2026. This notice describes the website’s visit-metrics feature and related website services.

Optional visit metrics are currently disabled. No optional traffic collection is active.

Who operates this website

The 5th MLR gaming community operates this website. It is a fictional Arma community, not an official military organization.

Operator location: Virginia, United States.

For privacy questions, withdrawal, access or deletion requests, contact info@5mlrgaming.com. We will assess requests under the laws that apply; please do not send passwords or sensitive documents.

Optional visit metrics

Only after you choose Allow metrics, we count views of selected public pages and estimate daily unique visitors to improve the website. We rely on your permission for this optional feature. Declining does not restrict access. Use Metrics preferences in the footer to decline or withdraw at any time. We also treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as instructions not to collect optional metrics.

A random first-party cookie identifies a browser only until the next UTC midnight. We store a keyed, daily digest of that value, its daily view count, last counted time and most recent random event identifier for deduplication. These short-lived records are pseudonymous, not guaranteed anonymous. They are not linked to Discord accounts or game-player records.

The analytics database does not store IP addresses, user agents, browser fingerprints, locations, referrers, query strings, article titles/slugs, private-page URLs, clicks or form contents. Daily totals and fixed public-page categories are the only analytics shown to ADMIN and WEB_ADMIN roles. No advertising, sale or sharing with an analytics vendor is part of this feature.

Cookies and retention

Analytics are hosted with the website on our Hostinger infrastructure. The host and network necessarily process connection information to deliver and protect the service, separately from this tracker. This notice does not claim that infrastructure providers never process IP addresses. Backup copies may persist under separate retention. Contact the operator for information about backups and privacy requests.

Other website services

Discord sign-in uses essential authentication cookies and stores an internal account ID, Discord ID and display name to verify community access. Website appearance settings are stored in your browser. These functions are separate from optional metrics.

The calendar and roster embed content from Google Calendar and Milsim Manager. Loading those frames connects your browser to their services, which can process connection information under their own practices. Declining our visit metrics does not disable those separate services. Discord, social links and member resources also have their own privacy practices when you use them.

Your choices

Decline metrics or clear the relevant cookies to reset your preference. You can use the browser privacy signals above. Browser/device identifiers do not reliably identify a person, so we may be unable to locate earlier aggregate visits. Contact the operator for questions or applicable privacy rights. Depending on your location, you may also be able to complain to your privacy regulator.

We will update this notice if the feature changes. Material changes to optional tracking require a fresh choice. Return to the website ↗
